BalanceFun was born from watching my two sons spend hours playing on their balance bikes in the garden. I taught them to cycle, and even after they mastered pedalling, they continued to race around, over ramps and obstacles, and enjoy every moment on their balance bikes. Watching their joy and confidence grow inspired me to share that same experience with more children.
As a cycle instructor with over 7 years’ experience, I’ve noticed fewer children are learning to cycle from a young age. This also fuelled my passion for BalanceFun — getting kids on bikes, having fun, and developing coordination and balance from an earlier age. We focus on playful, engaging physical activity that helps children develop key motor skills, strength, and confidence, so they can enjoy movement, stay active and learn to ride a bike.
At BalanceFun, we are passionate about empowering all children, including those with SEND or who struggle with balance and coordination. Our sessions are adapted to each child’s needs, providing a safe, positive environment where everyone can succeed. From obstacle courses and team games to tailored fitness activities, our goal is to help children glide, move, and thrive, building both physical skills and self-esteem along the way.
BalanceFun is more than just bikes — it’s about creating opportunities for all children to experience the joy of movement, build confidence, and have fun while staying active.
